Juvenile Diversion Programs

Because of the size of Wasatch County, the county itself does not offer much in the way of drug or juvenile programming. Offenders may instead be sent to disciplinary or treatment programs in neighboring counties.

• NCTI Youth Crossroads – is a cognitive behavioral evidence‐based program that offers an extensive library of juvenile curricula.   Carey Guides – is a set of 33 Guides that address specific topics related to criminogenic needs and other critical case management issues, which help youth to change behaviors in critical skills deficit areas.
• Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART) – is a cognitive behavioral, delinquency-reduction focused program. It targets risk factors that sustain delinquent behavior by utilizing anger control strategies and interpersonal skills training.
  In addition, the 3rd District offers restorative justice and interventions services, as well as families first, ISAT and counseling.

Drug Court Programs
